My cute Korean dol cake toppers. A funny and cute handmade idea as party supply and keepsake!

Just completing two orders for cute Korean dol cake toppers!

Dol is a Korean tradition that celebrates the birthday of a one-year-old baby. This ceremony blesses the child with a prosperous future and has taken on great significance in Korea. The birthday babies wear traditional outfit (hanbok) and hat. (from Wikipedia)

So, these cake toppers are a unique and original idea for the party! It's a long work for a beautiful result: the hanboks are personalized handpainting the little embroidered details of the actual outfits that the baby girls (or boys) will wear on their big day! It's a pleasure for me look at the pictures that my clients send with their lovely children, so elegant in their hanboks!

I started to create these cake toppers after my first custom order and I'm receiving new orders. I changed some details, always searching a better result for a figurine that will last as keepsake! It's also possible to add an ox or cow (babies born in the Year of the Ox).

HOW TO ORDER:

Please, visit my shop and read carefully the description of the item; you can choose

- the small size http://www.etsy.com/listing/38429424/cute-korean-dol-1th-birthday-cake-topper (price in USD: 84$ + 14$ shipping costs; adding the ox is 8$)

- the medium size http://www.etsy.com/listing/46803351/cute-korean-dol-1th-birthday-cake-topper (price in USD: 94$ + 15$ shipping costs; adding the ox is 8$)

If you want to order it,

1) contact me at passionarte.handmade(at)yahoo.it writing me if you prefer the small or the medium size, if you want to add the ox, and attach the picture/s of the hanbok

2) I will send a paypal invoice to your e-mail address (that you can pay with all credit cards even if you have not a paypal account)

3) time for creation and drying is about 15 days (or tell me if you need a rush order); I will send the pictures before shipping;

4) delivery for US and Europe USUALLY takes about 10-14 days.

A funny and original sculpture desktop calendar!

My sculpture bubbles desktop calendar takes part at the Etsy Italia Team challenge "Happy new year in white and red" . It's an original creation that I really like, so colorful with its red and white bubbles! This calendar brings fun and color in my desktop! It can be also a useful gift to wish a funny 2010! The base is handmade of modelling clay and the calendar of cardstock. And morover, it's ecofriendly: next year you can only purchase the cardstock part (the calendar) and re-use again the funny bubble base! It's available in all color combination, just ask! And, if you purchase it during the year, I can send you the calendar that start in the month you prefer (i.e.: February 2010- February 2011). You can read the complete description on my Etsy shop (my contact: passionarte.handmade@yahoo.it).
